Can you print a draft email in the New Outlook?

Hi Alex Your response however raises my curiousity. Continuing on from my initial query, and those who have indicated the same experience of inability to print the email 'draft' and your instructions as to how to do it, I am wondering if you have actually used your stated processes in either Outlook Mail or Windows Mail with Windows 10H. (I cannot speak for Windows 11 as I do not have that installed).

It is always easy to reiterate processes which are in black & white but often when put into practice. discovery of a 'missing link' can be found. May be you could find that 'missing link' which many of us are seeking to resolve this frustrating and annoying issue

Sorry but this is not true. The latest version of Outlook does not allow printing of drafts. Please see all the other replies.

thanks for your comment.. however I don´t see any solution to the printing problem - yet.

I hope Microsoft can review this topic and add the printing feature again in the new version.

Meanwhile we have to use the previous/old version which works with all features.

I read an article recently, which indicated the ability to print 'draft' emails was removed, to avoid confusion, if/when a 'draft email' was provided as proof of an official email.

Could this be overcome easily with 'tech gurus' adding a watermark on the draft message, while the message retained 'draft' status but, be immediately cancelled when the 'send' button was exercised?

I have also tried preparing a Word document with the Message prepared as required, but even when that text was copied and pasted into an email, the format and/or layout was not replicated.

Maybe with sufficient 'discussion' there could be modifications made to address this frustrating problem.

I guess either the programmers forgot this option or it was for a stupid purpose.

But it should be changed and corrected to be able to print.

Another issue is that many options for email appearance has taken off from the mini menu.. why? Because Microsoft consider to address only to some stupid basic users???

Our organization has to swtich back to the old outlook version to be able to work properly.
