Microsoft,

please take action in blocking in some way the continous spam emails from: 73 Botley Road, PA20 7FZ, MIDPARK

I have done everthing: unsubscribe from these emails, block, report as phising, set rules, ... but nothing works. They keep on comming in.

I read that a lot of people are encountering this issue, all comming from this same address: 73 Botley Road, PA20 7FZ, MIDPARK

Please take action here !

Maybe you didn't know, but clicking Unsubscribe in a message that isn't legit is just going to open you up to more spam.

Also, there's absolutely nothing you can do to prevent an email from arriving in your mailbox.

If the emails are going to your Junk Email folder then the system is working.

No one from Microsoft is going to see this and do anything about it. Just you moving the spams into the Junk Email folder reports it to the backend servers.

    Hi Frank! It's so annoying isn't it, I'm getting about 300 emails now per day from spam accounts, I've tried it all but nothing has worked yet. I blame Facebook for it as if you click to read an article i believe they sell your email add to everyone and anyone! Apart from shutting down my email address of at least 15 years I'm not sure what else to do!!

    I also receive these emails. The sender always uses different sender emails and Servers, so it's not as simple as creating rules to block these messages, unfortunately.

    Microsoft seems to do an okay job of moving most of these messages to the 'Junk' folder, but I feel more could and should be done here: simply blocking any senders that do not have an SPF record should cut out the vast majority of these kinds of emails. Google has already taken this step, and spam messages that make it through to the mailbox has been greatly reduced since then..

    I'm having the same problem and I'm feed up with it! If it arrived in my junk folder then I could tolerate it to a certain extent. Now this nonsense email is flooding my inbox!

    Even when I'm getting legitimate emails in my junk folder and I accept as not junk, any subsequent emails still end up in the junk box.

    I've had my email address for nearly 25 years and never in the entirety, up until recently, have been sent soo much spam mail!

    Looks like you have to now pay Microsoft for them to do something about it.

    Hi,

    A question to every one, do you have the problem with an hotmail address or with an outlook address?

    For me, it is only with my hotmail address, and as microsoft does not allow anymore the creation of hotmail account, maybe spam can be a way to force users to move from hotmail account to an outlook account?

    (I know this can also be due to hotmail accounts are older, so more exposed on the web too)
