Continuous spam emails from the same address: 73 Botley Road, PA20 7FZ, MIDPARK

Same here. But never tap on Un subscribe! Never trust the links in spam mails. Reporting of this kind of spam mails doesn't help often, because they're using email addresses of random existing people's email addresses. Microsoft fails whit blocking emails based on text the email contain.

I started sending all the SPAM I got to the email I received a message from following Microsoft support - it was mscsup10@microsoft.com. After a few days all my emails were returned undelivered by Postmaster. Funny how Microsoft can readily block my emails !!!!

I reportd the issue again to Support, they advised me to change a few settings and allow 10 - 12 hours for it to take effect- nothing changed, still being bombarded.

Simple solution for Microsoft would be to prevent any messages that didn't have a checkable response / return address from having access to the system, ie: just block them completely.

From what I can see Microsoft are not interested in blocking SPAM and probably preventing multiple cases of fraud and it'll all be down to money one way or another.

Someone with a bit of techie knowledge, maybe through a University, needs to create an app that prevents emails without return facilty getting access to a system. They'd be billionaires this time next year !!!!

I'd just like to add I've been receiving similar spam emails for about six months now.

Sometimes it's almost 1,000 a week.

I'm fairly certain what's happening is our email addresses are somehow part of a leak and found their way onto a 'paste' and sold on the dark web.

Now, granted, Microsoft can't do anything to block these, but they usually always arrive without a return address, so you can't easily block the domain. Only going into headers can you sift through and get a rough idea where they're from.

I've used email for 25 years. I've never encountered this level of spam in all of that time. I think people's concerns are legitimate. Just continue to report these as phishing (not junk - these are mostly crafted to get you to enter personal details, so they're really phishing) and don't click anywhere at all on them.

'Unsubscribing' is just a ruse to get you to click - and who knows what script that might lead you to.

In the header on your Outlook mail account you can see "Rules", it is in between "new mail" and "remove". Otherwise use the "more options" button all the way at the end: "...". Open it and it speaks for itself. Unfortunately the guys that send this garbage change headings and body text every few days, so it helps only for a short while. And does not help at all for new ads for different products. Still have 40 or so coming daily. Their email address is always hidden and I have no idea hoe to find that one out.

Why Microsoft is doing nothing to stop this - since it apparently annoys a lot of people - remains a mystery to me.
