Continuous spam emails from the same address: 73 Botley Road, PA20 7FZ, MIDPARK

Eddy, this has helped stop a lot of emails coming through to me.

Click on the three dots on the email ...

Go down to VIEW and VIEW MESSAGE SOURCE

You will get a box full of computer speak.

Scroll down a bit until you see the FROM line - mine shows as Message-ID, Thread Topic, Thread-Index, From

It then gives you were the email was sent from.

Highlight the address and copy

Open SETTINGS - the cog thingy at top of page in Outlook.

Select Junk email and ADD it to the Blocked Senders and Domains.

I have been copying in the full email address and saving and then just the domain part aswell, and saving.

So it would be " ******@wdIZPKJqQKBlkEwFDUup.com" , SAVE, and then, " wdIZPKJqQKBlkEwFDUup.com" & SAVE

Touch wood, rabbitts foot and any other lucky charm but Botley Road and the likes appear to have been thwarted for now. Most of the ones I get are one's you can just block from the email itself.

I am still sending every single one to ******@phishing.gov.uk ,  but not sure what they do, if anything.

Still get some through but seems to have stemmed the tide. They were previosuly coming from the likes of "******@screwfix.com", ie: proper words, but now they are coming thru from random number / letter generated addressess.

It has worked for me for the moment, give it a go and hopefully it'll work for you>

I've been having the same problem since the end of September 2023 🤬

Spam emails | ICO - It is laborious, but report every single one via that link. Tell them it is affecting your mental health. I was getting loads from RoodyNews and they have now stopped- touch wood. I am now contacting the companies directly were there is an address, for example I am getting loads about fuel cards from a company called iCompario I have found them on interent and now forwarded all the emails to the email addresses I found: @radiuspaymentsolutions.com <@radiuspaymentsolutions.com>@ukfuels.co.uk <@ukfuels.co.uk>. I also forward them to the Spam emails link at the ICO. I have done it with a few companies that are regulated by the FCA and have obviously used these marketing companies and will be contacting the FCA if I do not get a suitable response AND compensation. Microsoft have told me they are working ono something to stop these but dont hold your breath. Currently I am being bombarded with emails from Scandinvia & Lithuania. Try and be as much of a pain in the ar*e as you can to everyone and anyone responsible for these.

Same here and you can’t do a thing about it. I’ve tried everything to get rid of this spam and it’s true, the more you unsubscribe the more you receive from this MIDPARK address.

It’s a cluster<removed> of 20-30 a day. I have to deal with it first thing in the morning and I’ve got at least 10 to wake up to.

Absolutely INFURIATING.

My bank account was hacked about 2 years ago and the scammers had my phone no. ( I’ve changed it now ) and email address which is not so easy to change. They constantly phoned trying to get money out of me and I constantly gave them the worst verbal abuse on the planet. When my number changed and they couldn’t reach me anymore, I’m certain this is what they did to my email account for revenge as these spam emails started shortly after.

DON’T unsubscribe- you will get more and more.

BTW that postcode doesn’t exist and nor does that address. PA is a postcode for the Isle of Bute in Scotland.

I wish I could get someone from Microsoft to help me but nobody responds. They just aren’t interested 😞
