New outlook not showing total email count in each folder on windows application

Not the point. I just like to open my outlook inbox and simply see the overall number of emails in my inbox. A large number indicates that I’m losing control of my communications. So when the number gets high, I know I have work to do on my inbox…replying, deleting, filing, actioning, etc.

Exactly, all these people want to see the number of emails badge in the inbox (like it use to do) with multiple emails addresses but still after all this time and posts, Still not fixed!!!

you can hover over the mailbox or right click and it has the items and unread amount

Me too! Might need to look at alternatives to Outlook if we lose any more functional stuff that drew us to Outlook in the first place.

Hey there!! this forum is open for almost many months but still no fixes has been rolled out for fixing simple issue in this new outlook??? it is frustrating brother.

Not a great solution at all but for people who rely on seeing email counts in multiple folders I've just turned off marking emails as unread once they've been clicked on. they can still go unread if opened in a new window and it's not exactly an elegant replacement for lost features but it's the best I could figure out.
