Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Can't really commit to the New Outlook you keep pestering me to USE, if I can't see the number of unread emails in each mailbox without having them toggled open.

I switched to the new outlook and it is no longer showing the total number of emails in each folder.

Two issues: 1) there is no status bar in the "New" Outlook. 2) And there is no properties dropdown when right-clicking on folders.
The inability to see total items in the current folder is a deal-killer, makes it impossible to perform regular clean-up and maintenance as I've been doing for decades. Please tell me this will be fixed!
I second that, it's really a shame to see such a usefull feature for inbox management go down the drain.
Agreed! I cannot use this without the e-mail count. I switched back to the old version of outlook.
I agree. Microsoft really needs to fix this for both PC and MAC users.
