New outlook not showing total email count in each folder on windows application

Not perfect but helps!!!!

It seems to me:

• We can all understand the reasoning behind removing the properties feature.
• We can understand that product owner felt like "they don't need to see total messages. Unread will suffice"
• Microsoft support folks DO read this forum and reply to requests

What doesn't make sense:

• Why someone is not empowered to post an official response from Microsoft: "we got rid of your ability to see total items in a folder. sorry if this causes you disappointment. Here's a workaround: Hover over the folder and you'll see total items"

It's been over a year, is Microsoft not going to fix this issue? At a quick glance i want to see the number of email in my folders, i don't want to click on it to get a count and i don't want to see the number of unread email.

This seems to have been a problem now with users for about a year - @microsoft - is anyone changing this? I tried to be a good soldier and go to the new Outlook, but the inability to show the total number of mails in each folder sent me back to the old version. Unfortunately, this created other problems and our company support said to solve those problems I had to go back to the new Outlook. Driving me absolutely crazy not to see my totals in every folder.

Same for me. Can't believe they would take this away. I hope enough people complain that they fix this and bring that back.
