Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Same exact issue here OMG
No properties and only show total unread, which are in the box itself (SOMEWHERE) and not even in the folder selected
This is killing me

I switched to the new outlook and it is no longer showing the total number of emails in each folder.

A really helpful feature that is no longer available, I have switched back to the old Outlook and hope that the feedback is used by Microsoft to reinstate the feature soon
I agree with the previous comments. Has this issue been resolved?
This is a quick workaround: SELECT ALL (CTRL+A) in your inbox and "Mark as Unread". It will display the full count as it checks "Are you sure you want to mark (#) emails as unread?", and it will also show the count to the left side by the folders.
