Sync calendar option keeps getting turned off

I noticed that all my calendars were gone in the Android calendar app and found the reason is, for some reason, the option to sync calendars for my outlook.com account has been turned off in the Outlook app. I turn it back on and within minutes my calendars are populated again, but then hours later it gets turned off again. This started happening in the past few weeks.

Anyone else having this problem?

    Hi Jim! This is Raech. I'm a fellow Outlook.com user and I'm here to help.

    Is your Outlook mobile app up to date? What version is it currently on?

    First, let's try to do a quick reset in the app and see if it helps.

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings ⚙️.
    3. Select the affected email account.
    4. Tap Reset Account.

    If the problem persists, we can remove and re-add the account as well.

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings ⚙️.
    3. Select your email account.
    4. Tap Delete Account.
    5. Then re-add the account.

    I've got the same issue. Contacts doing the same thing only not as frequent as 4 hours. Reset account, deleted account, uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled. All give the same temporary fix as turning the sync back on. Seems to have happened with latest Outlook update. I love missing meetings because the reminders disappear when the calendar unsyncs.

    Spot on. Having the same problem. 3 times today.

    Have reset but not worked.

    Haven't deleted as afraid of losing my other email account.

    Running on Outlook

    v 4.2312.2 (42312822)

    Same problem here.

    I tried deleting the app and removing the account from the phone and setting everything up from scratch. Still having the same issue.

    I have not switched to Google calendar because I have too many events saved on outlook but I won't have other choice if this is not fixed.

    Hi Jonomir,

    I'd already upgraded to the newer version after reporting my issue via the Outlook Help & Feedback feature. They then replied saying 'there was a version on Play Store that addresses this problem and to let them know if it resolves the issue or not'.

    IT DOES NOT (for me, anyway). I have just informed them of that.

    The current Play Store version appears to be v 4.2311.1 ?? Going backwards??
