Sync calendar option keeps getting turned off

I noticed that all my calendars were gone in the Android calendar app and found the reason is, for some reason, the option to sync calendars for my outlook.com account has been turned off in the Outlook app. I turn it back on and within minutes my calendars are populated again, but then hours later it gets turned off again. This started happening in the past few weeks.

Anyone else having this problem?

I set the Outlook battery setting to Unrestricted a couple days ago. So far, the calendars have stayed synced to my device. I'm not ready to declare victory quite yet but am interested to know if anyone else has done this. If so, are you still seeing the calendar sync toggle turn off?

    Same issue here.

Disables sync after a few hours.

    Unbelievably annoying.

    Fix needed asap!

Please see reply below from MS Support.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for patiently waiting! I checked this with our engineering team and they're also getting similar reports and already looking into it. Can you please ask the affected users to submit a separate support ticket using their affected device so we can add it to the internal ticket with the engineering team?

Thank you for your time and cooperation. Have a great day!

Please see my response above, Eugene. I have reported back that it isn't fixed and am waiting for an them to get back to me. It's been a bit more stable today though.

Hi Jim! This is Raech. I'm a fellow Outlook.com user and I'm here to help.

Is your Outlook mobile app up to date? What version is it currently on?

First, let's try to do a quick reset in the app and see if it helps.

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings ⚙️.
    3. Select the affected email account.
    4. Tap Reset Account.

If the problem persists, we can remove and re-add the account as well.

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings ⚙️.
    3. Select your email account.
    4. Tap Delete Account.
    5. Then re-add the account.

Let me know how it goes from there. I'll be with you as soon as I can.
