when I run outlook on my macbook air, it opens up multiple windows (up to 50) automatically. this in return freezes up my application.

i've tried to create a new account and reinstall outlook where it will run as expected for a few months and then it restarts to open up multiple windows.

this has been ongoing from running BigSur and now on Monterey.

I can't even close each of the tabs. The only way for me to close the multiple Outlook tabs is to quit Outlook. When I open it up again, all the tabs reopen :(

Neither File>Close nor Command W closes my tab. The red button doesn't either. The only way to close the tabs is to quit the app.

Deleting the account, restarting the computer and adding the account back fixed my problem. Thanks!

This is beyond disgraceful.... MS calls themselves a software company? Their response to this issue is a JOKE. I spent 8 hours yesterday trying to help a friend with this problem. Tired very suggestion listed in all the posts and nothing. Even wiped the Mac started from scratch....For an issue like this to have gone on un resolved means THEY DON'T CARE. I've been a Macintosh consultant for almost 30 years and the software with the most problems always seems to come from MS. You pay for the software and try to get support! HA. You could have a 15 year old Mac and call Apple and within 5 minutes there is a person on the phone helping you. The worse thing about this is you see this issue has been a problem for months if not years and MS does nothing about it. Some people have no choice because their business made the horrible decision to use the Ms platform and now the Mac users have no choice but to use their BLOATWERE that DOESN'T Work... It's frustrating to say the least... I'd like to really tell you about MS Support but my post would be flagged.... F I X Y O U R "S O F T W A R E" or stop selling it......
