Outlook keeps opening multiple windows on macbook (macOS Monterey ver 12.4)

I uninstalled and reinstalled many times cleared my accounts, made new users only to see the problem return in less than 24 hours. I am not sure how to get all the archival emails that were "on my computer" but I did manage to back up the outlook files before the outlook just stopped working. I have no idea how to get them back and am very disappointed as there are archival emails that I really wanted to be able to access. As for now Mac Mail is all I will use again moving forward. Microsoft technicians (both level 2 and 3 techs were not able to provide any assistance to rectify the problem over 2 weeks)

It took a few weeks for my problem to resurface, I was also Able to close the outlook windows, but then a day or two later the problem just overwhelmed my system.

I am using Outlook on a Mac Mini. I had to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft apps in order to clear it out and also reset all my email accounts. But I can already see it starting again. So far its only one or two extra windows and I can delete them easily. When it get to larger amounts I too will be changing to Mac Mail. My only problem with that is all the archival emails I have. I think I will lose them.

agree - I spent 6 hours with Microsoft L2 and L3 technicians - they could not fix the problem so I have moved to using MacMail. they have lost me totally

So I also have the same problem with outlook. it started when i switched to an m2 mac air. Outlook generated tens and tens of windows, all of a sudden. I could not close them manually. I was able to completely reinitialize outlook, ( i downloaded software that does that, will add a link to this post later). I did have to re-create my accounts which was a nuance, Outlook worked for a few weeks and the problem resurfaced again. I never had this problem with my intel mac, very odd behavior. I will need to drop the use of outlook and either use apple mail (which i do not like) or find another product,
