What happened to Next Item/Previous Item arrows in Outlook 365 for Mac?

My Outlook 365 for Mac recently updated. Previously, when I opened an e-mail message, there were up and down arrows in the upper right that I could use to go to the previous or next message without returning to the Inbox and list of emails. Now, those arrows have disappeared. No similar buttons or arrows are in the ribbon that's now at the top of the screen and I don't find them as options when trying to Customize the ribbon, even though there would be room for additional buttons. (See below.) I also haven't been able to find keyboard shortcuts that would let me go to the next or previous message without returning first to the Inbox.

Thanks for any help with this!

Yeah.... And it is a totally STUPID, cumbersome workaround that shows Microsoft's completely obnoxious disregard for MAC users.... whose market share is now posing SERIOUS market share problems among consumers (versus head-up-the-you-know-what business users). BTW, is everyone noticing there's no actual official update from anyone who works at the Dark Side to this thread?

I am also experiencing the same problem, I run my business from this email account and I have a massive amount of emails to manage every day. Using the keyboard shortcut is not an option as it takes me more time. Please fix this and reinstall the arrow keys forthwith.

Ctrl + and Ctrl - shortcuts zoom in out of web page ? That is Ctrl Plus moves 100% to 110 % etc and Ctrl minus puts it back so this does not move emails to the next or previous.

Hi! The short cuts for next and previous email when reading through your inbox are cntrl+. and cntrl+,

I don't know why they couldn't have just told you that in reply instead of sending you to find out yourself. I miss those arrows too, they were very helpful.

Same problem in Firebox and previous/next arrows need to be reinstated on Outlook for the web.

Why on earth would Microsoft remove such a useful feature??
