When your in an email, there are usually up and down arrows top right on the page, allowing me to scroll to the next/previous email...

They aren't there today, is this a glitch or have Microsoft once again updated the look of Outlook and removed a REALLY useful feature???

When I hit the three dots, there are 16 items displayed. Not one of them is "customize."

I dunno. I'm using Windows 10 here at my job, and there is no 3-dot menu in the individual message rows, in the inbox. There is a 3-dot menu up at the top, but my problem is not up at the top.

Oh, I see what you're talking about -- the trash can on each e-mail line in the Inbox. I thought you were talking about the Delete trash can at the top once you're viewing an e-mail. I have no idea how to change what you're talking about.

I see the three dots. There are 16 options listed but none that seem to allow me to move the delete wastebasket.

Please provide a step by step instructions.

What I was talking about, you hit the three dots, hit customize, uncheck the Delete option, and then hit save. But, based on the other commenter, I may have misunderstood which delete icon you were talking about. Regarding the one next to *each* e-mail in your inbox -- I have no idea how to move or remove that one.

There are two instances of the three dots. I was talking about the three dots at the very top, while I think you were talking about the three dots in the corner of each e-mail. I think we're talking about two different things.

I have discovered the solution for the missing arrows. You need to access the settings in Outlook Live. Select show all Outlook settings at the bottom. Select General setting then Privacy and data option. Look for External Images section and select Don't use Outlook service to load images. Once selected the previous and next arrows reappear when going back to your list of emails. The next test is to see if the arrows disappear again when selecting Always use Outlook service to load images. I hope this discovery helps
