Mac Outlook 16.63 signature issue

I have a customer who has been unable to set signatures in Mac Outlook since switching to the new interface. If she resets the account every time she opens Outlook the signatures re-appear. We re-installed the Office suite, and various purging of accounts and preference files have been attempted. The issue only returns.

    Sorry - I have my automatic updates turned off but I get notified when there are new updates to install.

    You don't need the Automatic updates. You can manually download and install the update posted on Microsoft's website.

    The individual installers and updaters are here for 16.64 (non-app-store version I assume) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac
