Spam emails with no sender address

I use a hotmail email address and I've been getting multiple spam emails a day and they don't have sender addresses. If I try to reply to them, Outlook would tell me the recipient cannot be empty. I also cannot block them since there's no sender addresses to block.

This is getting extremely irritating.

I have fixed this by performing the below steps:

    1. Select More actions button (...) at the top of the message window and select View message source.
    2. Scroll down in the Message source until you find the From: field.
    3. Highlight the email address enclosed within < > and right-click to Copy.
    4. Use this email address to block the sender.

I‘m getting this type of spam daily into my Inbox since a couple of weeks. In my opinion it’s a crude bug and security issue that Microsoft delivers emails without any sending party.

No other serious email provider would accept messages without a valid sending email address. And to consider these messages as not to be spam biggest brain fuu for me.

Thank you for trying, but there is no option for creating a rule to disallow or move emails with no sender address.

Nothing in my reply you are responding to had any reference to a rule for emails with no sender address - no such rule can be created.
