Spam emails with no sender address

I use a hotmail email address and I've been getting multiple spam emails a day and they don't have sender addresses. If I try to reply to them, Outlook would tell me the recipient cannot be empty. I also cannot block them since there's no sender addresses to block.

This is getting extremely irritating.

Won't do any good, will it? Some replies in this thread are still ignoring my suggestion after a couple of users say it works for them. They seem to trust "Independent Advisor" more than a nobody like me.

    try this rule:

I had this problem for months, so many spam email getting into my mailbox from blank senders.

I tried a lot of rules, nothing worked, but this finally did the trick!

Thank you so much, I almost threw out my outlook account.

Why isn't this on more forums? It is the only solution.

Though I have to say that after a couple of weeks it isn't working for me :( Still all the e-mails are coming into my inbox. So now I'm trying the rules instead.

Printscreen isn't working :( But go to the 3 dots upper right in the message (next to 'reply', 'forward' etc.; don't mix it up with the dots on top of the message), then choose 'view' and then 'view message source'. Then a box opens with the HTML-code, where you can search for the '@'.

I couldn't see the view source button.

Could someone post a screenshot please?

    Thanks.
