Spam emails with no sender address

I have started getting the same senderless spam emails, about 6-12 a day. It's ridiculous that this happens here when I've never had a problem with Gmail. I would completely delete my Outlook if certain accounts I had weren't locked to this email.

Beyond incompetent and a complete joke. I will be telling everyone I know, both personally and professionally, to avoid this platform. This is also like the one thing AI could actually help with in terms of pattern recognition and yet we get the awful copilot instead...

I added the *delete all emails except if the sender address contains* "@" rule days ago and I still get emails with no sender address. So it doesn't work. So why are you spamming all these replies here and patting yourself on the back if you didn't even test your own suggestion?

Clearly Outlook is a horrible email service if it allows millions of spam emails with no sender address to be sent to millions of people. Clearly Microsoft doesn't care if they don't even reply to any of these threads. What really upsets me is that while they do absolutely nothing to prevent this massive amount of spam, they're actually removing the spammer addresses mentioned in this thread "for privacy" (which is absolutely laughable, apparently they'd rather protect the privacy of the spammers than stop them from being able to spam people)
The only solution is to switch to another email service, one that actually tries to reduce spam emails and doesn't allow millions of spam emails per day with no sender address.

My problem is, you have the choice to either report emails or block them. But, on some of them, when you try to use the block option it doesn't show up on some of them. That's because in the email there's no information about who actually sent it to you???? So it can't be blocked. I don't understand how MS lets these emails even go to people. They should be apply to block them period, if there's no email address showing from who's sending it to people

Today I found 3 spam {and quite probably phishing) emails that contained no Sender Address; never seen that type of email before. After tracing through a few articles on the MS forums I found a suggestion to look at the actual header info for the email and see if there was a common denominator that could be used to set up a rule in my outlook inbox. Well it worked. The common denominator is that each of the spam emails has a "<>" at the end of the From: line; for example, "From: strengthen your back <>". The Rule is to look for specific words in the message header, then display a desktop alert and to delete it. No exceptions. The rule found and deleted the 3 spam emails from my inbox and dropped them into the deleted items folder.

The "From:" line is located just after the "Subject:" line in outlook. The method to open the email header is to double-click on the message and then select the Properties button - the Header info will be shown, in addition to any other info in the email; so please be careful and do NOT open or follow any hyperlinks in the original email or from the header info.

Not sure this is an universal solution but it worked on the 3 spams I received that all seemed to be associated with something called *.mail2world.com .

What app you are using? Mail or Outlook? Because I can't find that on either app.
