I use a hotmail email address and I've been getting multiple spam emails a day and they don't have sender addresses. If I try to reply to them, Outlook would tell me the recipient cannot be empty. I also cannot block them since there's no sender addresses to block.
This is getting extremely irritating.

I'm getting the same spam in my inbox in Hotmail. You can not create a rule if there is no address in the header. There is no address in the header. If you like, I can forward you a piece of spam. I'm sure there will be no takers, however, MS needs to have the option to be able to block spam with no sender address. It shouldn't be getting through in the first place.

Thank you for trying, but there is no option for creating a rule to disallow or move emails with no sender address.
Nothing in my reply you are responding to had any reference to a rule for emails with no sender address - no such rule can be created.

It is just insane that hotmail/live/outlook does not have SPF, DKIM or DMAC active.
the reason why these emails are delivered in the inbox is because these have a 'list-unsubscribe' filled in in the header (which actually is pointing to a malicious website) and that bypasses the SPAM mark as you are marking them.
So using a guy's feedback on the first page of this thread to go to view -> message source, I was able to find that the majority of the "no sender e-mail address" spams that were going into both my inbox and junk folder were from "******@ofl.ca" at least in the last week, I'm sure they'll swap that soon enough.
I wish I could change my default e-mail address to gmail instead, there seems to be way less junk getting through on there, but having had this address for the last 25 years makes that almost impossible.
Just come across this thread. I'm getting loads of spam emails with no sender address too. Utterly pathetic by Microsoft. Trying to force people to go premium to stop unwanted spam ads in the phone app (I already have a lifetime use of MS Word so there's no way I'm paying for a 365 subscription for what is basically the same thing), and then the do naff all about such easy to identify spam emails. Time to get rid of my outlook account and use only Gmail.
