Outlook Mac, how to move mail/cal/people icons from side back to bottom

I, and 3 colleagues, are all on the same version of Outlook for Mac (16.71.2).

For two of us the icons for Mail, Calendar, and People are on the side. The 3rd person has them (where I always used to find them) at the bottom.

I have searched everywhere but cannot figure out how to get them to the bottom again.

Thoughts??

    the new "moving mail/calendar/group icons to the left side" idea is great!!!!!!!

    now there is pretty big big big blank area of the bottom which are completely freaking useless!!!!

    Please revert and take back the icons to the bottom of the screen.

    Dear Microsoft, please move them back, or give us the option. Ignoring the muscle memory we've already developed using these extremely important icons, there is now a long slit of screen real estate now that is mostly empty.

    Seems to be one of those "for no good reason" changes...

    I think what will resolve this issue for you is found in the "Outlook" Menu at the top.

    You'll probably find that the users not seeing the shortcuts where they were once located will have "New Outlook" checked in the menu.

    Remove that check/selection. Outlook will close and re-open instantly and your view should be restored.
