I have searched and found a few others with this problem and I could not find any solution that worked for me.

With Microsoft 365 personal can you access the calendar using the Outlook Android app? When I try to login to add my account I receive this error.

An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.

Tried using the app to contact support, but just get a spinning blue circle saying contacting to support.

Tried clearing cache, deleting Outlook and reinstalling different WiFi and mobile data, changing password and I keep receiving the error.

I can login using other apps and with the browser. Outlook is the only problem.

    Similar problem. Outlook was crashing every time I tried to check my email today Dec 18, 2023 (on my Galaxy s22). I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall, restarted phone several time, changed password, and I can't get it to "authenticate" my account now.

    I can still access on desktop, but the phone app seems to be on the fritz.

    (I use Microsoft 356.)

    I have the same issue as well... None of the suggestions worked for me.

    Have you had any luck solving this problem? The "authentication" problem started 2 days ago for me. None of the previously posted solutions works. Help!

    No luck. Microsoft does not respond anymore to this issue. Google Android, same thing. Two giants in the industry ignore their users.

    I didn't get any helpful replies either. The only replies were "I'm having the same problem". But then someone posted they had finally succeeded so I tried again and this time I also succeeded. No rhyme or reason why, didn't do anything different but assume some update had fixed the problem, at least temporarily. Once authenticated, I was in and only needed it the once. Don't know if it would still work - haven't dared try! So maybe it's worth a few more random attempts every so often. Sorry I can't say anything more helpful!
