I have searched and found a few others with this problem and I could not find any solution that worked for me.
With Microsoft 365 personal can you access the calendar using the Outlook Android app? When I try to login to add my account I receive this error.
An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.
Tried using the app to contact support, but just get a spinning blue circle saying contacting to support.
Tried clearing cache, deleting Outlook and reinstalling different WiFi and mobile data, changing password and I keep receiving the error.
I can login using other apps and with the browser. Outlook is the only problem.

I got it to work after days of trying.
I use my own domain name for my email. Was thinking that might be the problem and I think it was.
I created a new outlook.com email as an alias under my account.
Tried again and worked. Must be a CDN issue.
