I have searched and found a few others with this problem and I could not find any solution that worked for me.
With Microsoft 365 personal can you access the calendar using the Outlook Android app? When I try to login to add my account I receive this error.
An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.
Tried using the app to contact support, but just get a spinning blue circle saying contacting to support.
Tried clearing cache, deleting Outlook and reinstalling different WiFi and mobile data, changing password and I keep receiving the error.
I can login using other apps and with the browser. Outlook is the only problem.

I am tired of this issue. Sometime it just kicks me out. Most of the time I get ".An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later." Error message this my happens to my outlook app.
I also have this issue.
All was working well until my exchange server required a password change. Following that I can no longer access my exchange server via the Outlook mobile app.
I can access the account from Outlook desktop and the web interface.
I use two devices, a Samsung Phone and a Samsung tablet. Both will now no longer let me into the exchange account.
The exchange account is a custom domain name.
I have tried clearing the data and cache, uninstalled and re-installed all to no avail.
Please help.
