I have searched and found a few others with this problem and I could not find any solution that worked for me.

With Microsoft 365 personal can you access the calendar using the Outlook Android app? When I try to login to add my account I receive this error.

An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.

Tried using the app to contact support, but just get a spinning blue circle saying contacting to support.

Tried clearing cache, deleting Outlook and reinstalling different WiFi and mobile data, changing password and I keep receiving the error.

I can login using other apps and with the browser. Outlook is the only problem.

    This needs to be escalated further to the Outlook in-app support. I understand that you already attempted to contact them. In order to do so, can you try adding a different email account through the app?

    I am asked to enter my user name and password. Also tried using Microsoft Authenticator.

    Username and password work then a quick authentication in progress (or something close to that) then the "An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later." And back to the add account screen.

    Hi Kenny. Thank you for your reply.

    When you try to set up the account through the app, are you prompted to input your password? Or do you simply see the account listed automatically on the setup page as soon as you click on Add Account?

    As I stated I am using a Microsoft 365 personal account. Just using Outlook app.

    To clarify, are you trying to add the account via the native Calendar app or through the Outlook mobile app itself?

    Do you have a company portal app or Intune installed?
