I have searched and found a few others with this problem and I could not find any solution that worked for me.

With Microsoft 365 personal can you access the calendar using the Outlook Android app? When I try to login to add my account I receive this error.

An error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.

Tried using the app to contact support, but just get a spinning blue circle saying contacting to support.

Tried clearing cache, deleting Outlook and reinstalling different WiFi and mobile data, changing password and I keep receiving the error.

I can login using other apps and with the browser. Outlook is the only problem.

    Enter a dummy address for your domain e.g. 'imloosingthewilltolive' at mydomain dot com

    Choose work account

    This will take you to the GoDaddy sign-in page

    Replace the pre filled 'imloosingthewilltolive' at mydomain dot com with your actual 'prefix' at mydomain dot com

    Thank you, EUPaul! This worked for me! I have spent a half-day trying to add an account to my Outlook on Android. I had tried everything that I could find on the Web... THIS worked! I don't know why, but it worked! Thanks EUPaul!!

    I had somthing similiar. The early hours of Tuesday 29 October my Outlook app on Andriod stoped working. Windows app and web mail were fine. Got authentication error went attempting to connect. Tried uninstalling the app, Authenticator, restarting the phone with no joy. I also have my own domain hosted by Go Daddy. The solution that eventually worked was....

    Uninstall or clear data in the Outlook app

    Add an account

    Untick the suggestions and click continue

    Enter a dummy address for your domain e.g. imloosing ******@mydomain.com

    Choose work account

    This will take you to the Go Daddy sign in page

    Replace the pre filled imloosing ******@mydomain.com with your actual 'prefix'@mydomain.com

    Boom! (Hopefully)

    Hi there,

    How are you setting it up? Are you using Exchange?

    When you set up the Exchange account in the Outlook app do the following:

    Domain: leave this field blank

    Username: type in your whole email address
