How to stop Outlook 365 retrieving template

I have multiple accounts in my outlook. Something changed on one of the accounts over the past week. When I click on one of the accounts to start a new email, I get the below dialog box which slows my ability to create a new message or see read messages since it hangs up the account for 15-30 seconds. Any advice n how to resolve the matter, including stop retrieving the templates in outlook?

    I understanding your Outlook is slowing down when you want to create a new message it takes about 15-30 seconds.

    May I know if you are still using these templates? To remove this dialog box you have to remove the templates from your Outlook, to remove the templates In your Outlook ribbon, select "Open Templates." On the page that opens, find and click the Template you'd like to delete lick "More," and then "Delete Template." Note: any changes made will require that you close and re-open Outlook

    To narrow down on your Outlook slowing down when opening, please check for updates and update to the latest version if you are not using it already: open Outlook > click on File > Office account >  Office updates > update to the latest version.

    Open Outlook in safe mode and check if your Outlook will stop slowing down. Open Outlook in safe mode (microsoft.com)

    Same thing for me and my co-workers, and I have no Templates under My Templates. It started a few days ago, with no changes to my setup.

    Outlook is up-to-date. Windows is up-to-date. It happens in safe mode too.

    It's not consistent after the first New Email, sometimes messages load without a problem.

    The delay seems to be related to my AV a bit. If I turn it off, the message just flashes up -- but it didn't flash up before. And its not triggering any blocks.

    What's seems weird to me is watching outlook talk to San Jose, Toronto, Chicago, Singapore, Boydton, Quebec, Tappahannock, Cheyenne, Tokyo, Des Moines just to open Outlook and click New Email.

    @Bradley, @Ikmar,

    Are you still seeing the issue? We had a support case in escalation for this issue but it suddenly stopped occurring for the customer. I just want to check in case it might have cleared up for you as well?

    I am still having the problem. I had thought maybe it was linked to EX405758 which was supposed to be fixed yesterday but is still listed as a problem today.

    I have this same issue. Just started a week or two ago. Thought it would go away but it is not. It is beyond annoying when it pops up and I have to wait for this.
