Hi there!

I use Outlook for work and would like to view my work Outlook calendar on my personal Google calendar. I published my Outlook calendar to my Google calendar using the ICS link as instructed. This worked! However, any new or changed events to my Outlook calendar do not refresh on my Google calendar.

Is there a way for changes to my Outlook calendar to reflect on my Google calendar?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Brandon

Anyone figure this out? Or do you still do the daily update? Seems crazy way to have to connect calendars.

Hi - I am having the same issue as Brandon. As he mentioned, we have already successfully gone through the steps of adding a new calendar via ICS URL. The issue is that now when a calendar event in Outlook gets updated or added, those updates do not reflect in the Google Calendar. For example, a meeting I was supposed to have today got moved to Friday, however the Google Calendar still shows the meeting has happening today even though I've accepted the updated meeting invite in Outlook.

Any advice on how to fix this sync issue would be appreciated as it's very frustrating and I haven't been able to find a straight answer in any Q&A forum.

    Hi,

    Following another thread... https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/outlook-calendar-changes-not-showing-up-in-google/09bc5308-5d88-4ab6-a960-45645cfc004e?page=2&rtAction=1673115336207

There are a lot of people with sync issues where new meetings created on Outlook were not created/changed on Google Calendar automatically. As a workaround, some people are recreating the calendar on Google daily.

Is any issue reported by Microsoft or by Google on that?

    Thank you.

    Dear Brandon Suchan,

Happy 2023! Thanks for posting to Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you.

Based on information provided, I understand you are facing with Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar synchronize issue. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you so much.

In the light of previous experience, this situation is attributable to three main factors:

    1. You may have several exchange accounts or several IMAP/POP accounts in one Outlook profile.
    2. You have followed the right steps to add Outlook calendar in Google Calendar, but some details went wrong.
    3. In addition, may l know how long this has been happening? Since sometimes this is a transient error.

According to above factors, please kindly check below information from your Outlook and Google calendar:

    1. You can check how many accounts you have added in Outlook. If you have several exchange accounts in one Outlook profile, l would suggest you create a new Outlook profile Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support and add your Office 365 account to it, then test the calendar sync again.

FYI: Overview of Outlook e-mail profiles - Microsoft Support

    1. I believe you have followed official documents to syncing Outlook calendar with Google Calendar. I sincerely recommend you check again just in case:

As you said, if we want to connect Outlook with Google, we will first require a link from Outlook Web App by following steps:

    • **Outlook Web App > Settings>View All Outlook Settings>**Select Calendar

**Shared Calendars> Publish Calendar section>**select Calendar> choose Can View All Details

    Click Publish>Copy your ICS link

After getting the link, finish syncing in Google Calendar, please follow these steps:

    • **Google Calendar >**select Other Calendars + which located at the bottom of your page

Click From URL and paste your copied ICS link> Select Add Calendar

Once you see your new calendar, then the syncing is done.

    1. In general, this is a transient error and typically occurs because of an unstable internet connection. These problems usually resolve themselves after a few minutes. But sometimes it may be a long time for Google calendar to finish updating, 4 hours or even 24 hours based on user experience.

If you get any error code or any barriers hinder you, could you please share with me the screenshot of error code or more detailed information?  We will keep tracking this thread and would be glad to offer advice and solutions.

Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated. Wish you a peaceful New Year 2023!

    Best regards,

    Tammy | Microsoft Community Moderator.
