Outlook calendar not updating in Google calendar

Thanks for suggestions to date. BUT I don't want to have to pay for another subscription to an app - which I shouldn't have to use.

Nor am I comfortable at this stage running the script given my limited skills, I really need it spelt out more for me I think. Is running script reversible?

Is Microsoft onto providing a permanent solution to this issue which appears to existed for some time?

I am only sharing here what has worked for me. Per my understanding the script doesn't change anything permanently. It runs every so many minutes (customizable) and synchronizes an Outlook calendar with a Google calendar. You can stop the script at any time.

Can't speak for Microsoft when/whether they will provide a solution and when.

For the record, it worked perfectly and smoothly for me, both on the Android and Web version.

Can anyone please provide guidance on my earlier post. When I run it, it begin, refers to my update to the line 28 change I made and then ends. But does not appear to by syncing Outlook calendar into Google. Based on others who have made it work, I presume it is something I have done. Can you please spell out exactly how the edited lines should look - eg - do I delete anything if not used? Any guidance ASAP would be much appreciated as I really need to get this sync happening.

Don't worry about feeling daunted by the script, just followed the instructions. And the app also includes an uninstall option (after which you can just delete the script). Am using the script now and it's working well.

Sorry if this is off-base, but I found a half-solution that worked for me. I originally came across an article suggesting using the ICS link to sync w/ Google Calendar, and experienced the same issue of updates in my Outlook calendar not being pushed. Today I came across a different way to sync the calendars. The reason I say half-solution, is that this only works on my Android phone. I don't see the synced calendar on the browser version of Google Calendar.

1. On web version of Outlook/Calendar click gear icon in top right of screen near profile picture.
2. Navigate to 'Calendar' beneath General and Mail.
3. Click on Accounts in the top down list.
4. Here you can connect your personal accounts to your work account, including Google, Outlook, Hotmail, Live, and MSN. Select Google for Google Calendar.
5. Select/Sign-In to your Google Account in the pop-up window.
6. Give Microsoft requested permissions.

As I said, with this solution my Outlook calendar syncs perfectly with the Google Calendar app on my phone, and I see my outlook email address on the Google account list in the Google Calendar app on my phone. However, none of this is reflected when I view my Google Calendar in a browser.

I hope this can be a solution for some. If anyone has info on why the sync isn't reflecting in the browser version of Google Calendar, or how to rectify, that would be appreciated.
