Outlook calendar not updating in Google calendar

I have already answered in this thread with a cheap (free) and perfect solution flawlessly working since my post on January 17, 2023.

Within that link is offered the free OGCS (Outlook Google Calendar Sync), a GitHub solution developed since 2012: https://www.outlookgooglecalendarsync.com/ I have installed it and it is very satisfying.

Therefore, I recommend it as a totally working solution.

My work won't let me add any programs to my computer so this solution is not going to work for me and I suspect for a whole range of people with work laptops for which they do not have the admin rights

Unfortunately, even though it says it does not require local access, it pops up as having been blocked by my system administrator when I try to open the app.

I think this addresses synchronising my Google Calendar across to my Outlook Calendar. My problem is the other way - Outlook Calendar items not appearing in my Google Calendar.

Hi - I am having the same issue as Brandon. As he mentioned, we have already successfully gone through the steps of adding a new calendar via ICS URL. The issue is that now when a calendar event in Outlook gets updated or added, those updates do not reflect in the Google Calendar. For example, a meeting I was supposed to have today got moved to Friday, however the Google Calendar still shows the meeting has happening today even though I've accepted the updated meeting invite in Outlook.

Any advice on how to fix this sync issue would be appreciated as it's very frustrating and I haven't been able to find a straight answer in any Q&A forum.

I was having this issue as well. My Google calendar had been syncing with my Outlook calendar and then stopped a couple of weeks ago. Go into your Google calendar and hit the three lines on the top left. Scroll down and see if your Outlook calendar is listed underneath your gmail account address below Events, Tasks and Reminders. If it is, you should be able to select it and then your Outlook events should show up on your Google calendar. Hope that helps!
