Configuring preferences and options in Outlook on the web for business
Thank you !

Suddenly today my folder pane is hidden by default. I have not changed any settings. I can go to View>Layout>Folder pane>Show and it will pop up but it will disappear if I click anywhere but the folder pane. I need to see the folder pane all the time. How can I change this? (And why did it change itself?)

This may not be relevant to you, but this problem only happens on my laptop.
As mentioned above, I fixed it for me by changing my laptop browser's view zoom level to 90%, or less (you might need to use a different zoom level to me), and it can now continue to display the folder list after I reveal it via the three little horizontal lines in the top left.
Just read above
I thought selecting "show" pane would solve it, but it didn't. Did not find this answer anywhere.
** Here's the deal. I finally figured it out. Under the HOME tab, there is a button "Toggle Left Pane" - click on it and the folder pane will stay open.
Hope this helps.
I click on toggle left pane and it shows the folder pane but does not stay there (when clicking a folder, it disappears again). How did you get it to stay?
A real pain if I have to keep pressing toggle every time to see the folder pane.
Edit: dragging emails to my folder is now non-existent as well.
