Outlook signature no longer able to be edited

I currently have several signature saved and they still show up as an option to use. However, if I go to edit any of them, one one comes up as an option to edit. The other signatures that I can use no longer are in the list. I would usually have about 20+ to choose from and edit. It is only showing my default signature

    hi all,

    So, I had this issue this morning. After a W10 to W11 upgrade many outlook features stop working correctly, being this one of them.

    This worked for me: Going to C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\

    And then in "Signatures" folder properties, removing the "read only" check box (even if checking again seems to be no change).

    Then suddenly me signatures are editable again.

    It's possible those signatures are saved to the device rather than your account: under 'Signatures and Stationary' select the dropdown box next to 'E-mail account'. Select 'Signatures on this device' and see if they appear there instead.

    You are a hero... This was the solution. Microsoft support is usually pretty useless. They just repeat back your problem and copy and paste the steps that anyone could find with a simple Google search. If those solutions actually worked we wouldn't be wasting our time asking in a forum.

    I had the same problem, and found that you need to change the email account to "Signatures on this device" to see the rest of them.
