Where is the send and receive button in outlook (New Outlook for Windows)

And what do you do if you are online and the folder does NOT automatically sync? That is what the send/receive button was for... to prompt the action. Taking away this functionality and trusting to an automatic system is idiocy. But what do I know, I've only been a software developer for 30 years!

It should sync within a few seconds of opening the folder. If it doesn't sync, remove the account from other and add it back. If its a Gmail or yahoo account and you are asked to remove it from everywhere, say yes.

I made changes on web site, i'm 30-40 mins waiting and nothing happening.

How can I force a Sync?

How can I see status?

How can I KNOW that its up todate without having to goto web to check?

Seems like a basic functionality of a email client.

En ce qui me concerne mon ordinateur est connecté à internet 24h24 et j'utilise le nouvel outlook pour windows

et je n'ai plus la possibilité d'envoyer/recevoir ou synchroniser comme sur "courrier"

Dessus j'ai des comptes outlook et free

et ce bouton était bien pratique quand on s'impatientait de recevoir un mail important, il est d'ailleurs présent dans Microsoft Outlook

Quite agree. It assumes a universal capability or need across the global user base. Also the add account settings have not been improved since windows NT.

For all the talk of UX in these big corps they can't get basic undergrad level functionality on a standard app. Bloody embarrassed is what they should be. They'll probs have to have several months of meetings about this, followed by a "sprint" where some actual work might get done to fix the problem. But don't hold your breath.
