    Open outlook.exe from file explorer --

    Outlook.exe is here - you can use Windows key + R to open the Run command and paste the path, including the parenthesis in the run box then press Enter.

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

    if you use 32-bit Office, it is here -

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

    Pin it to the taskbar.

    My response from microsoft is the new beta outlook 360 is online only. No need for send receive as everything is real time. Also means ALL offline features are not available until the new offline version comes out. I really like the new version and the slider at the top easily and quickly switches between versions. JUST REMEMBER TO SWITCH TO OLD AND DOWNLOAD if you are getting on a plane or need to use offline.

    That is correct - offline use is planned but its a beta and a lot of features are missing right now.

    If you see that the Inbox is not updating automatically, please submit an In App ticket (Help, Support). The In App Support Team raised this as a top priority with the Product Team and a lot of work has been done to address the issue.

    Some of the latest changes include:

    Fixed issues that were delaying reconnect, for example after coming out of Sleep Mode on the computer

    Updated sync prioritization to sync inbox first

    Reload to get fresh data from the service more quickly

    If there are still issues, then submitting a ticket helps get it investigated so any new fixes can be implemented. For example, if you are seeing dramatic difference receiving on your mobile device compared to New Outlook.

    Go to View, then View Settings, then in Mail - Layout, select the radio button that says Don't sort my messages, and the "focus" inbox disappears.
