Where is the send and receive button in outlook (New Outlook for Windows)

You keep saying "offline support" but that's not what I'm talking about. We need it while we're ONLINE. Many times people will send me an urgent email, and I can't sit around and wait until Outlook manages to retrieve the message. I need a way to force outlook to check NOW. Even windows mail had a "sync now" option. I see emails on my phone before I see it in Outlook, which many times is how I know that I have new email. If I can't trust Outlook to deliver an email as soon as it's on the email server, then I can't use outlook. Again, this has nothing to do with being online or offline. Unless my ISP goes down I'm online 24/7.

Please don't shoot the messenger...

That's the dumbest thing I've heard about this. It's NOT superfluous, it's sorely needed. I received a verification email from microsoft (ironically), and saw it on the webmail for my email provider, but nothing on the new outlook. I waited for a couple of minutes before I closed outlook down, then restarted it. Then the email finally showed up. Yes, I was online at the time as I always am. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Microsoft can't get email right. The last "simple" email client that actually worked was Windows Live Mail, which of course was killed off for the far more complicated (and costly at the time) Outlook. Do they have just one engineer working on mail? Windows mail has been a dumpster fire since 2015, and the cat and mouse they play with yahoo (the 2nd largest email provider on the planet), is pathetic. Especially since 3rd party clients like Thunderbird can seem to do it.

In the "New Outlook" desktop version, the "Send/Receive All Folders" button has been replaced by a new feature called "Sync This Folder." To synchronize all folders, including your inbox, sent items, and other folders, you can follow these steps:

* Click on the "Send/Receive" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. (I can't. It's gone!

* Click on the "Sync This Folder" dropdown menu.

* Select "All Accounts" to synchronize all folders for all of your email accounts, or select a specific email account to synchronize folders for only that account.

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but didn't you just explain how the send/receive button was replaced by a new feature called "Sync This Folder."? So, how do we get to "Sync This Folder" if the "send/receive" button is gone, like you said it was? So, please tell me how to go about refreshing my email by syncing, without hitting the "send/receive" button?
