    In the question of "What happened to the Send and Receive button" the response is as follows, and perhaps should not be:

    1. * Click on the "Send/Receive" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.

    And what do you do if you are online and the folder does NOT automatically sync? That is what the send/receive button was for... to prompt the action. Taking away this functionality and trusting to an automatic system is idiocy. But what do I know, I've only been a software developer for 30 years!

    The new Outlook requires constant internet connection (no offline support), so the Send & Receive options would be superfluous until Microsoft have added offline support, I guess. Maybe I am missing something.

    In my opinion, the new Outlook has fewer features compared to the classic one, especially with regards to formatting. I do not know if the idea is that this is supposed to change over time.

    Are you using Outlook desktop client or Outlook Web App on browser?

    If you are using Outlook Web App on browser there is no Send/Receive button. This feature function are available on Outlook desktop client.

    I think I mis-spoke. The previous Outlook you could place a "refresh" button on the top ribbon. It was really handy when I knew an email was supposed to be coming through but the server was taking its sweet time refreshing.

    Does the new outlook have a "refresh" button?
