I have a new MBP M1, with fresh Monterey. I moved my data with the assistant from the old MBP, I have all the letters in Outlook (v15.46), but search in Outlook not works, it gives a "No results found" message in all folders. Old methods for reindex Spotlight is not working (eg. add and remove Main Profile to Spotlight). How can I solve this problem? Thanks

Today I deleted the Main Profile, remove all mail accounts, and made a new profile, and add a mail address. But the search still not works.

Unfortunately my email is set up as a POP account. So I am pretty sure, if I delete my account, I will loss all my current emails. I read the following directions in an Apple forum from 2015.

"If you remove the account, you will lose all of the emails that are in the Inbox for that account. What you need to do is first create a new mailbox. Move all of the messages from the account you wish to delete into the new mailbox. You should do the same for the Sent messages in that account. Once you have moved all of your messages into the new mailboxes, you can go ahead and delete the account. Before deleting the account, check both the Inbox and Sent mailboxes to be sure they are empty."

To be honest, I am also afraid that one mistake will cost me dearly in terms of losing years worth of valuable emails in a practical sense. I have observed times where Outlook would not open my own old email files that it recognized were somehow from a different account.

Unfortunately, if you own Outlook for Mac (not 365) there is no option for New Outlook.
