In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

I agree with all, this is a so minor function, would help so many users

This was two and a half years ago that you took a popular feature away and it has still not returned. I've stayed in legacy Outlook because that's a crucial feature for me. Why has this not been fixed after all of the complaints that started in 2020?

I agree, this is a downgrade. It's as if Microsoft took Apple's approach to design. In an attempt to make it look more pretty, they remove features. Less functionality=less clutter. Combined with no integration of notes, I am not a fan. At least I was able to have Apple's Notes sync to Office for a local solution. Isn't the beauty of Outlook that it is a one-top shop for all of these functions?

The old Outlook showed the total number of messages in the inbox at the bottom of the screen. The new Outlook does not show this number.
