Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    Also: Launch Outlook, then click on the "Help" menu and select "Revert to Legacy Outlook". 

    I am going to have to do this again soon. Another absolutely maddening thing the Microsoft "I know best" Nanny is doing: My Outlook has a message at the top "The new Outlook for Mac is here! The new version will launch the next time Outlook restarts". Like I am supposed to wet myself with excitement. I can find NO way to disable this forced "upgrade".

    You can at least stop Office from auto updating it's applications. Open the "Microsoft AutoUpdate" application and unselect the "Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date" check box. You can then update individual applications as you desire and ignore Outlook updates as long as you want.

    Thanks - it looks like the forced, unwanted update is already teed up. Will see if disabling auto updates prevents this in the future.

    I've tried twice now to move to New Outlook. Incredible to see this issue has still not been resolved. I've moved back to classic. Shame on you Microsoft! Listen to your customers - they are giving you clear feedback!
