In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

It has been "improved beyond repair" as they say. It also does not tell you if you have replied to an email. It used to, and you could click to go directly to the reply, but not anymore.
This has been incredibly inconvenient for mailbox management. It would be great if this could be resolved.
Will this feature be coming back??
If not I need to go to the previous version.
How do I do this?
Please make this feature available again. I need to see the total number of emails in my inbox, not just the total unread emails.
That's exactly where I'm at with this new version...ugh.
