Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    I've just voted, but it took a bit of searching as it's now nowhere near the 3rd most voted FR, it's now around 15th.

    Hi Steve, I just checked and you are right. I forgot to mention that my filter on the right hand side of the page had "Mac" selected. If that is selected, it is indeed the 3rd option. My apologies for the confusion.

    I may have missed the solution in the thread, but ...

    I think I found a message count workaround on the Mac (that isn't too painful).

    In the "New" Outlook ...

    1. In the left panel, select the Inbox, or any other folder that you want to see a full message count (read and unread).
    2. Click anywhere in the message list area and Select All (command-A on a Mac).
    3. The message window will now display an envelope graphic with "XX conversations selected".

    This gives you the message count for the folder selected.

    FYI. Why Microsoft labels them as "Conversations" instead of Messages is beyond me. If you view your messages as "Show as Conversations" the count is actually the number of grouped conversations, not the number of all messages.
