Using older versions of Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
Couldn't agree more about this not being fixed/restored after years of requests - and now we're being forced to switch to the "New" Outlook for Mac. Incompetence at its best!

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Yes, how did a developer miss this. This is an essential tool to report Inbox counts. Please fix this immediately.
It's super frustrating...my computer crashed, and when it came back up, Microsoft installed New Outlook, which I hate, because there's no inbox email counter. ARGH. Fix this, Microsoft!
Agreed...why remove the display of total emails in inbox? This is critical in managing email. Seriously :-(
Having the inbox count in the bottom left of my screen was a constant stabilizer for my daily work flow. I get hundreds of emails a day and need to have some gauge of how in control/out of control my day and week is.
Please bring this aspect back.
