In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

I agree with all of these other uses. Having the total tally of emails (read and unread) clearly visible is a very helpful tool for mailbox management!!

I agree, not a good solution at all. This might be the only email client that doesn't show how many emails are in the folder. But if you're interested in cloud services...

I can't find any functionality better in the new outlook that does not exist in the old. it seems to be all about aesthetics and clean design at the expense of functionality. I have gone back to the old outlook because of this and life is right again. I suggest you all do the same, that becomes our vote on the dumb changes like this.

Completely agree. New Outlook is an exercise in form over functionality. Again I've gone back to the old version because it's just better.

Another thing I found is that in the old version I use the "Move To" drop down to manage a list of commonly use destination folders. In the new version, if you move an email by dragging, it amends that list.
