Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

Hi,

Agree with most of the posts. The 'count' of mails, not limited to Inbox, but to any folder like Sent, Deleted Items, Custom folder is a significant indicator that we've got used to, mainly for cleaning up the folders beyond a threshold. Unfortunate that the latest Mac version doesn't support it.

Hope this useful feature from the older version is restored, soon.

Dear Microsoft,

I've been an Outlook user for 20+ years I have come to rely on knowing how many emails are in my Inbox. Reluctantly I moved to New Outlook, I did not like the new style, button layout and some functions, but wanted to at least give it a try.

Losing the inbox email has made me, among other things, want to move back to the previous version.

Hope you can correct this oversight soon?

I agree. A lot of people use this number to manage their inbox. Please put it back in

Its not a new feature - just bring back the counter.

Support the organized people as well as the people with 100k emails in their inbox who need to hide this number.

Microsoft doesn't pay attention to this forum. The only way for them to hear these complaints is by sending feedback directly to Microsoft. But that probably won't make any difference as they have shown time and time again that they really don't care what their customers want. Their most recent example of this is the release of Windows 11 with a whole slew of features removed.
