Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    Ironically there's even a count on this message thread but there's no count on out inbox. 277 posts and nothing meaningful from microsoft in response. With the old system scheduled to end, we now have no choice. Goes to show the decision makers don't really understand their customers.

    Still not fixed in 2022 - This is poor.

    I understand if you guys don't want it as standard, but put a toggle in the settings to turn it back on.

    There is no justification for removing this, it's a vital tool for inbox management.

    I don't see the correction in the version I'm using now. Doesn't seem important to MS!

    There is a short workaround.

    1. Select any message in your inbox. You'll see the content of the message in the right section of the window.
    2. Make the Select All command (COMMAND + A)., The content of the message will be replaced with the number of selected messages.

    I know, this omission is unbelievable... but this workaround is fast and convenient.

    Is it possible to vote for this feature request somewhere ?

    Personally I've also sticked to the classical version since months, just because this indicator is not available. It's really crucial to know how many messages you have left in your inbox (not just how many are not read). Perhaps other people are doing differently. but that's the way I prefer and I don't see why the UI should tell me to do differently...
