Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    In the Classic view you can see how many emails are in your folder both read and unread in the bottom left corner of the outlook app. In the New Outlook view that option isn't there to view. I have version 16.51

    Hi,

    I'm using Outlook for MAC OS, v 16.51 and I have the same problem: i can't find the total number of items in my inbox. Outlook shows only the number of unread mails, but i have no idea of the total number. It's really annoying and absolutely inefficient. The only way I can find it, is to downgrade to the previous version! Isn't that aberrant?

    If I miss something, please tell me!

    PS: I've seen the last version on Windows and the total number is available...

    I never post on these boards but on this point I will. Please can we have the total email count reinstated asap - as you can see from the messages here most people use it for daily Inbox management and I am flummoxed that this was missed on such an important upgrade.

    I have exactly the same issue.

    It seems that this feature is NOT available for Mac users!!!

    I'm dreaming or what?

    Counting the total number of e-mails doesn't look to me as rocket science, or... maybe... MAC users....

    Please, MS, tell me that it is a mistake.
