In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    Please add back this feature.

While I hate having to click Command-A to see the total count, I am staying with the new outlook for one key improvement: it now includes my replies in the conversation mail chains, no need anymore to click on the "see reply" button.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. I'm switching back to the older version since the mailbox count is an important tool for inbox management.

I can not believe this feature is still not there! This is very important information to manage my inbox. I wanted to turn back to the old version, but however the search function is not working properly in the old version and it can not be fixed. I had to stay with this new version. Very disappointed.

Agree that the count is VERY useful and critical. And I am very much looking forward for it to return.

A work-around in the meantime (haven't checked the 317 replies to see if it has been given before):

    • click an email
    • Command+A (marks all)
    • then you will see the number of conversations (which is better than nothing)
