In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

And me too ... To have a count of the number of emails in a folder (not only inbox, ANY folder) is really critical. As many others, I am waiting to switch between OLD and NEW until this is resolved.

Has the problem been solved, after 9 months now? This is a very disappointing part of the New Outlook.
number of emails is missing. pls change it
I stuck with the “old” version of outlook for months because it still had the total inbox count at the bottom. Suddenly one day my folders stopped syncing and switching the to “new” version solved that issue, but no inbox count, I’m “selecting” all emails several times a day to view the total count. Microsoft, please please return this feature with the next update;) thank you so much!!!
