In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

Where do you see the number of message when you select all? Many thanks!

Are you telling all of us on here that you are refusing to show us this simple feature we all value so much? All of us are using the old version of Outlook because of the lack of this simple feature. JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE of Microsoft not caring about their customers and even worse, their Apple customers. So lame.

    You're right!

SELECT ALL in my inbox is a good work around.

    Thanks.

Funny I do the exact same thing with the search bar just like you!

Without a total count of items, the new version of Outlook cannot be used. Going back to classic.

That's what I have done, too. The main useful future of the new version seems to be in its search function at the top bar. I will toggle to the new version only very occasionally when having trouble with searching in the classic version. Otherwise I work in classic.
