In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Can you please incorporate the total count of emails in the inbox folder like you used to have in the bottom left-hand corner in Legacy Outlook? Enough people have complained about not having it anymore.
Microsoft doesn't care about us OSX users. They never have, and they never will...
I have discovered that if I right click on the folder it gives me the wrong email count though.... Microsoft only lets Outlook on the Mac count up to 1000.
From logging into outlook.office.com I can see that folder actually has 7000+ emails in it (deep sigh)
What are they doing about this?
I can't believe the largest and most successful software company in the world has no clue how to make an e-mail program. But it appears to be true. There are more flaws in Outlook, but mail count is essential.
