Using older versions of Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
Agreed. 2 years now and they haven't fixed this - what a bunch of ****.
Microsoft you suck.

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

This has been a problem for over a year and a half on the "new" version of outlook. And apparently Microsoft does not give a f***. Nice to know that there's idiots who don't have a clue in charge of application development at Microsoft.
I'm with you! The item count seems so simple yet still unaddressed. So frustrating.
18 months of not addressing this, and the user community they reference in an original reponse no longer works.
Guess I am never going to use new outlook!
It is more than 18 months and tons of people requesting the restore of an important functionality (count of number of messages in footer as was available in the old Outlook). Who is the Program Manager responsible for this mess?
Should such a simple thing need to be escalated to Nadella. Is the Outlook team going the Windows Phone way???
